LAUNCHPAD WORKSHOP

The Sacred Ground Program equips ambitious high school students with a toolkit to make a difference in their local communities through social entrepreneurship.

What You'll Learn

The one-week intensive workshop for changemakers and future shapers introduces participants to an entrepreneurial way of thinking to create social impact and make a lasting difference by bringing their ideas to life. Students will learn about how to build a company and raise money, speak to entrepreneurs about their journeys and design their own ventures.

LAUNCH

The course encourages students to put their skills to the test by working in teams to design ventures and present them at the conclusion of the program.

Who Should Participate

The workshop is designed for any young person in grades 9-12 with a dream of making the world a better place to access the network, tools, and information to make their dreams a reality.

Students are asked to bring their ideas, energy, questions and to get ready for a jam-packed week of engaging with talented youth from across Toronto all interested in making the world a better place.

When + Where

Spielberg’s blockbuster, “Minority Report”, is set in the year 2054. The future – at least according to a team of MIT futurologists, hired by the cinematic genius – is the captive of embarrassingly personalized and disturbingly intrusive.

We’re Building a community of young Changemakers.
